Zund Mount Cutting systems are utilised throughout both bespoke, short and long run production. MountMaker software, features standard design of rectangle/oval mounts, to free form design of shapes including scanned images through to nesting on the mount board for maximum yield production.

With the ability to cut mount board up to a maximum of 5mm thickness the Zund standard tooling includes straight (trim) cutting, true 45° bevel cutting and v-grooving and a pen insert for key lines, text, and general mount decoration. Add a creasing tool and presentation boxes, corner protectors can be designed and cut on the Zund mount cutter. Oscillating tools can be utilised for foam core mounts to a thickness of 10mm. Additional possibilities of camera recognition systems for cutting pre-printed mount board in perfect registration for that unique coloured, patterned, text, corporate logo mount can be retrofitted, thus illustrating the modular, flexible approach of the Zund cutting system.
